Put the mouse to some column A,B,C ... and right click to see context menu, then select Hide. The same for Show - see screens 1, 2.

You have to select both A and C and then click "Show columns", because you have to define the columns that you ant to show. You must select at least one neighbor column to the left and one neighbor column to the right when you want to display a hidden column.
