Description tiotrom 2018-10-10 22:53:32 UTC
I create big books into Draw so this error is completely ruining my books. To replicate you can test with one of my books. You can find the Draw project here https://www.dropbox.com/s/cwqsp38l6f3mkbv/The%20Origin%20of%20Most%20Problems.odg?dl=0 (it is way too big to upload here). Check pages like 161. See the yellow rectangles. That's where that type of font was. Now all such text blocks made with Fontwork tool are empty boxes with a yellow border. Here is how that page should look like https://www.tromsite.com/2018/02/the-origin-of-most-problems-1/#dflip-df_6562/320/

We have many such pages and re-making those designs is very time consuming. How can this be fixed? We cannot update any of our books because of this book.

Hello. No updates on this? Let me know if I need to provide anything for further testing/reproduction of the bug. Also, the bug is pretty major since it messes up with Fontwork in every page, thus breaking up the design. Thanks!

FYI: conformation and a fix can take a while.. For the time being:

You could downgrade, if you know a version working as expected..
http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

Or try the master version and check if it's fixed already

Thank you. Will keep an eye on this and if necessary will downgrade until it is fixed.

Hello tiotrom,
Could you please try to reproduce it with version 6.1.3 of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Indeed I don't see the bug in 6.1.3 - awesome! :)
