Hello Victor,
Thanks for reporting this issue.
Does it work if you disable OpenGl ? -> https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/OpenGL

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present
Comment 7 victor 2018-10-15 15:59:54 UTC
My OS on this machine is Win7 - 64. The bug is still occurring, whether or not OpenGL is set to "on."

Oliver, I have no problems with formating any cells in Calc. All works perfectly.
Comment 10 Julien Nabet 2018-10-17 19:58:41 UTC
Would it be possible to have a backtrace? (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#Windows:_How_to_get_a_backtrace)

Andreas, if you can confirm a bug report, you are also allowed to change the status to NEW

Any better with a recent LO version?
Here's a link to retrieve a backtrace on Windows:

Sorry for my mistake concerning the sceenshot. I expected this to be added to my comment but my comment did not make its way.

Here is my comment to Julien Nabet:

Writer still crashes while trying to insert using the more fileds dialog.

I'm using:
Version: 6.2.2.2 (x64)
Build-ID: 2b840030fec2aae0fd2658d8d4f9548af4e3518d

Thank you Andreas for the screenshot but would it be possible you retrieve a backtrace? (see https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport/Debug_Information#Windows:_How_to_get_a_backtrace)

Seeing the bt, it gives me no hint :-( but perhaps someone else may have some idea.
Anyway, I don't know if it's the same pb as Victor's but could you give a try to https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/FirstSteps?

This is the alert notice displayed when I select "more fields" under 6.2.2.2. Very strange. Program crash on closing the alert.

Could you please share a screenshot of Tools - Options - LibreOffice - Advanced ?
Comment 22 Julien Nabet 2019-05-02 13:44:38 UTC
Victor: Just for the remind, if you use LO 64 bits, you must have Java 64 bits
If you use LO 32 bits, you must have Java 32 bits.

Since you use LO 64 bits, do you confirm you got Java 64 ?
Comment 23 Julien Nabet 2019-05-02 13:45:04 UTC
Also for the record, I don't reproduce this on Win10 with master sources updated today.

Hello,
Fix for bug 124503 is in LibreOffice 6.2.4 or LibreOffice 6.1.6, not in LibreOffice 6.2.3
Could you please try with LibreOffice 6.1.6 from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/ ?
