"Copy Better" is very easy to use, add "Copy Better" to LibreOffice.

1. "Copy Better" is an extension of Chrome.
2. If you can, take the program directly with the author.

I don’t find this report clear.

What do you have in mind that would be a benefit for our project if we somehow talked to that extension’s developers? (Because developing in JavaScript for a browser is very different than developing in C++ for an office suite.)

What exact functionality are you missing in LibreOffice? AFAICT, the extension provides automatic copy of highlighted text. But this functionality is already built-in in Linux operating systems, and is external to LO. If you’re missing that, you’re better off looking for a solution that is universal for most programs in your operating system. We can’t afford to increase the complexity of our code base even more with such a feature.

Ask the author first, if the author is willing to join the LibreOffice R&D team, you don't need to write the program.

it doesn't make sense to ask the Author to join the project. They are two unrelated projects using different APIs, thus it would need to be implemented from scratch. Out of scope...
