Description Bob W 2018-10-26 21:41:02 UTC
Report worked properly in version 6.0.5. With installation of and migration to Firebird embedded DB reports will not hold text in Label fields. Entered text into a Label field in a Base Report in edit mode then saved report and ODB. Close report and reopen. On reopen the text that was entered is replaced with "Label" in any and all Label fields. Reenter text in Label fields, save report and ODB and run report without closing the text labels are inserted correctly in the prepared report. Close and reopen report and all label field text reverts to "Label".

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open database with embedded Firebird DB.
2.Open report in edit mode
3.Note that pre-existing Label fields text have reverted to "Label"
4.Edit Label fields to correct text values
5.Save report
6.Save ODB
7.Execute report - text in Label fields inserted in prepared report
8.Close report
9.Reopen report in edit mode or rerun report- text in Label fields reverted to "Label"

Actual Results:
7. above -text in Label fields properly inserted in prepared report
9. above - text in Label fields reverted to "Label"

Expected Results:
retain entered text in Label fields after save

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Good news - this has been reported and fixed with the 6.1.3 (and later) version(s) available for download.
