Description David 2018-10-28 19:57:09 UTC
It happens since 4.1.X version, also on 5.X and 6.0.X. Today I have tested it on 6.1.2 and it happens too. I use 64bits Linux version on different computer with the same results. Always with Linux Mint, I don't remember the version that started to happen, I think the v14 or 15 and now I use it the 18.3 with LO 5.4, 6.0 and 6.1 installed with the same results in my main computer. And with 5.4 and 6.X in at least 3 other computers. I doubt that will be hardware or OS problem becouse it happens in some different machines and versions.

I don't have a windows or mac machine to test it, but I have test it on a Virtual Box Windows XP 32 bits with 5.4.7.2 and it all runs well, could be happen only on Linux versión.

First I thought that wasn't a bug, but I haven't found anything abnormal on configuration in all this years.

I attached a file to test it and a video showing the behaviour of this.

Thanks for your hard work!

I can't reproduce on Win10.
Versión: 6.1.3.1 (x64)

Please can you test modifying OpenGL status Menu/Tools/LibreOffice/View.

If it doesn't work, can you test Menu/Help/Restart in Safe mode
Comment 3 David 2018-10-29 09:34:00 UTC
In windows it seems runs well and today I tested on Linux with nvidia graphics card and LO 5.3.X and it runs well also. Could be only on Linux with intel graphics card and could be only graphics OS problem. I happens to me for several years on different machines, but the machines was very similar with hardware and OS.

Today I test it without anti-aliasing ans runs well! Is the anti-aliasing function.

Version: 6.1.2.1
Build ID: 65905a128db06ba48db947242809d14d3f9a93fe
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk2;
Locale: es-ES (es_ES.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded
Comment 6 David 2018-10-30 21:57:17 UTC
m.a.riosv the OpenGL and OpenCL was disabled, but don't the Hardware aceleration and anti-alias, and is the anti-alias feature! When I disabled, it runs well!

At this point, I don't know that will be a bug. Could be issue from Intel graphics card hardware acceleration on Linux.

If it helps, I use with Linux Mint Mate Edition (From 17 to 18.3) by a i7-3770T, Celeron 3150N and Core i3-380UM. The three with the same result for LO 5.X and 6.X. But now, I only need to disable anti-aliasing to see it well. Thanks for your help. If you need that I need to do more checks, I'am.

I'm experiencing the same issue on Arch Linux with office version:
Version: 6.2.2.2
Build ID: 6.2.2-4
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.0; UI render: default; VCL: kde5;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

Running a ryzen3 2200g

Disabling anti-aliasing resolved for me as well.

Yes, I will. Tomorrow you will have a response.
Comment 11 David 2019-07-10 22:40:32 UTC
Hello Xisco,

I tested with the the last two branches. Enterprise/conservative user (6.1.6.3) and the technology enthusiast (6.2.5.2).

- With 6.1.6.3 it happens the same issue for me, but remember that only happens with the combination of "Hardware acceleration" with "Antialiasing" (I have attached new screenshoot)

- With 6.2.5.2 it runs all well without any problem.I have tested the four combinations with the two checks and all is OK! (In this version it appears only two checks, Hardware and Antialiasing, it doesn't appear OpenCL checks near below)

I have changed to unconfirmed because i don't know if the fresh is the 6.1.6.3 or the 6.2.5.2.

Thanks and King Regards,
David.

I confirm this issue has gone!
(both anti-aliasing and HW accell. selected, w/ Intel graphics)

Version: 6.3.1.2
Build ID: 6.3.1-1
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.2; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: it-IT (en_GB.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-GB
Calc: threaded

If other reporters do the same, we can mark it as FIXED...

This issue was solved in my response on 2019-07-10 22:40:32 UTC. I checked with 6.2.5.2 but it wasn't appeared again in 6.3.X or 6.4.X versions.

Sorry for responding later and not explain clearly enough
