Hello,

Did you already try to check the connection parameters under:
Tools -> options -> LibreOffice Writer -> Mail merge e-mail

Are you using a direct connection to internet or are you behind a proxy?

yes, about 10 times over the last few days I also tried different mail ports. Every time it said that the mail connection was successful but sending mail failed.

I am using a direct connection

    <prop oor:name="MailPassword" oor:op="fuse">
	 <value>MyPassword</value>
    </prop>

Dear Julian Jackson,
Could you please try with LibreOffice 6.0.7.3 from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
Comment 9 Beck Greene 2018-11-15 17:09:07 UTC
Mail Merge E-mail fails for version 6.1.3.2 on Mac
The processing documents progress window is different than in 6.0.7.3
6.0.7 shows a count as documents are processed before sending.
6.1.2 and 6.1.3 do not display the document count.

Mail send progress window (as detailed in my previous entry) does not progress beyond the initial
0 emails sent
emails not sent 0

Version: 6.1.3.2
Build ID: 86daf60bf00efa86ad547e59e09d6bb77c699acb
CPU threads: 4; OS: Mac OS X 10.13.6; UI render: default;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded

6.0.7.3 is the latest version that functions correctly.
