This was reported as a dupe for DOC but let's convert to similar problem with DOCX.
There are other reports where images, charts, shapes are lost when anchored to frames. Bug 64500, bug 67318, bug 49184, etc.
I'm opening this one so that one is exclusively DOCX. Related to bug 121509.

I don't actually see a lost frame in Frame-Paragraph-Shape.odt (tested 7.2), but I do see it in the duplicate www (6) (2) (5).odt (tested 7.6)

As mentioned in bug 40540 comment 36, I can't reproduce this when saving attachment 146730 [details] or attachment 56207 [details] to DOCX: the object remains, it's just anchored to a paragraph on the page instead (and its position changes).

I tested with LO 6.0.0.3 and a recent trunk build:

Version: 24.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 29b11fa3b5574dc3f42f55b0716f71054030c6c2
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 5.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

Can anyone else reproduce the issue for DOCX export with attachment 146730 [details]?

Like Justin, I can reproduce with the steps and document in bug 135983, but that's different: it's an object anchored inside a frame, which is itself anchored inside another frame. So I'd vote to mark this as duplicate of bug 40540, and setting bug 135983 back to new.

Yes and this should be overall phased out from the UI, since it's sooo un-interoperable :(.

Agree. For the doc case, saving this attachment is a duplicate, for docx it's a WFM.
