Created attachment 146981 [details] Document showing the hatching problem 1. Insert an OLE-Object into a writer document: Insert -> Object -> OLE-Object 2. Click into the OLE-Object: Folie -> Folieneigenschaften (sorry, I have a German menu) 3. Select Hintergrund (Background) -> Schraffur (Hatching ?) 4. Define a new hatching Now save and quit the document. When the document is opened again, the OLE-Object still looks ok, but when you open it, the new hatching has gone. The attached document has a new hatching defined that you should see when opening the document. As soon as you open the OLE-Object, the hatching is spoiled.
I can not reproduce in Version: 6.0.6.2 Build ID: 0c292870b25a325b5ed35f6b45599d2ea4458e77 CPU threads: 2; OS: Windows 6.1; UI render: default; Locale: en-US (en_US); Calc: group

Problem solved. After clicking "ändern" ("modify" ?) the new hatching icon is updated to show the changes, and the hatching is present after saving, closing and reopening the document.
(In reply to johannes.wandinger from comment #4) > Problem solved. After clicking "ändern" ("modify" ?) the new hatching icon > is updated to show the changes, and the hatching is present after saving, > closing and reopening the document. => WORKSFORME, because of comment 4
