Text doesn't render in running ppt slideshows (full screen) if hardware acceleration is enabled. This is a sample file. https://scholar.harvard.edu/files/torman_personal/files/samplepptx.pptx If I run it, I only see the background in all slides but no text. Disabling hardware acceleration fixes this. Version: 6.2.0.0.beta1+ Build ID: 20(Build:0) CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.14; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded I am using an NVIDIA 1050ti OC edition card with 410.78 driver.
Confirmed problem with Ubuntu 18.04 and LO 6.2Beta1 and 6.3Alpha0 Also that it works as expected with LO 6.2Alpha1 Need to update the local files, but once done will run bibisect for this.
Hi @caolan. This was verified to happen only in GTK3 and not GTK2. Did some GTK3 related hardware acceleration changes happen in 6.2? Thank you.
text works fine for me in my local 6-2 build under wayland or with GDK_BACKEND=x11 so I can't reproduce this. Ideally someone who can reproduce it can bisect it.
(In reply to Caolán McNamara from comment #3) > text works fine for me in my local 6-2 build under wayland or with > GDK_BACKEND=x11 so I can't reproduce this. Ideally someone who can reproduce > it can bisect it. That will be a few days then, which is fine, while the 6.2/6.3 bisect repos get worked out.
