Description: I propose we create a laser pointer icon that appears on the audience-view monitor that responds to the mouse position on the presenter view. I have written a little python script that does this for me when I hold the ctrl key, but I think people may like such a feature to be part of libreoffice. Demo: https://doakey3.imgur.com/all My Python Script: https://github.com/doakey3/impress_mousefollow Actual Results: Presenters using multiple non-duplicate monitors who want to mouse-over an area on their slide must look up at the projector and awkwardly position the mouse over the text (or use an actual laser pointer, which does not get recorded when the presentation is being recorded with screencasting software) Expected Results: Presenters should be able to visibly mouse-over an area on a slide without having to turn to look at the projector. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info:

Hello, This is already implemented with the pen. Once in presentation mode, right click - Mouse pointer as pen. Cheers
How is this already implemented? When I right click and select "Mouse Pointer as Pen" I get a pencil tool that allows me to annotate the slide. This does not fulfill the same purpose of a laser pointer. Did you look at the demo image I linked to?
This enhancement has been in UNCONFIRMED status for a while, moving it to NEW... Note to the reporter: Changing the status to NEW doesn't mean the enhancement is going to be implemented. In order to do so, either you implement it yourself, you find someone to do it for you or you get professional support < https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/professional-support/ >
Maybe this is a dupe from https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96886
