Description Anthony Vimbaye 2018-12-02 07:42:50 UTC
Description:
Hello everyone,

First of all, I tried the following operation with the Writer v6.0.7, v6.1.2 and v6.1.3. The problem does not occur in the 6.0 version but in the 6.1.x versions indeed.

So, there is a problem with the Tools - Outline Numbering in the last LibreOffice Writer.

When I try to numbering different level of titles, it is always the last modification which is saved but not the entire configuration. So at the end, I can number only one heading style.

Thank you for reading.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Choose Tools - Outline Numbering, and then click the Numbering tab.

2. Choose plan level 1 from the left column.

3. In the Paragraph Style box, select the desired heading style (+ some options)
----Paragraph Style: Title 1
----Number: 1, 2, 3...
----Sublevel: 1
----After: .

4. Choose plan level 2 from the left column.

5. In the Paragraph Style box, select the desired heading style (+ some options)
----Paragraph Style: Title 2
----Number: 1, 2, 3...
----Sublevel: 2
----After: .

6. Choose plan level 3 from the left column.

7. In the Paragraph Style box, select the desired heading style (+ some options)
----Paragraph Style: Title 3
----Number: 1, 2, 3...
----Sublevel: 3
----After: .

8. Validate

Actual Results:
My level 1 title
My level 2 title
1.1.1. My level 3 title

Expected Results:
1. My level 1 title
1.1. My level 2 title
1.1.1. My level 3 title

Could you please send me the link to download the 6.1.4.1 version please ? And I will try too.

I can only find v6.1.3 and v6.0.7 from https://www.libreoffice.org/.

Thank you.

I have just tried the case with LibreOffice 6.1.4.1 and there is no more problem. From now, I will work with that specific version.

What about the problem under v6.1.2 and v6.1.3 ? Should I close this ticket ?

Cheers.

if the issue does not occur in lo 6.0.7 and upcoming lo 6.1.4
we can set it to resolved/worksforme
