Pop-up help for menu buttons in LO 6.0

If the mouse pointer is placed on any button on the menu, it is expected a help indicator will pop up explaining the function of the button. This was the case up until version 6.0. See screenshot attached. The popup, "Underline" does not appear in Libre Office 6.1 or 6.2.

From 6.1.0 onwards, including 6.2, when the mouse pointer is placed on any button, the icon simply vibrates but no help indicator pops up.

Without the indicator, it becomes difficult to understand the difference in functions of similar looking buttons on the menu.

I have tested this on Siduction and Antergos. Both show the same performance.

Thank you for reporting the bug. To be certain the reported issue is not
related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your
Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and
re-test?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present

Hi,

I have started Libre Office in safe mode according to the wiki and the problem persists.

I have investigated further, and my findings are as follows:

Siduction (Debian):

LO1:6.1.3-2, pop-up help works fine if libreoffice-gkt2 package is installed, and libreoffice-gtk3 package is removed.

LO1:6.1.3-2, pop-up help does not work if libreoffice-gkt3 package is installed, and libreoffice-gtk2 package is removed.

LO1:6.1.3-2, pop-up help does not work if libreoffice-gkt2 and libreoffice-gtk3 packages are installed.

LO1:6.2.0.0, pop-up help does not work with either Libreoffice-gt2, or Libreoffice-gt3, or both.

Antergos (Arch):

I did not find any package libreoffice-gtkx in Arch repositories, and could not remove gtk3 package, as several other apps depend on it. Therefore,

LO6.1.3-2 and LO6.2 both do not show pop-up help messages.

Does it work if you change your desktop theme?

Given that the problem occurs with gtk3, and both Debian Sid and Arch have gtk 3.24.1, I will be surprised if it turns to not be yet another instance of https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/issues/1371.

I can confirm that after the latest update of gtk3, everything is working hunky dory. LO6.1.x and LO6.2 are both showing help information on the toolbar icons for both Debian and Arch. So, the problem has sorted itself out for users like me.
