Created attachment 147399 [details] Form preview in a database Open the attached screenshot. On the right of the chosen form is set "Document" for the preview of the form. Seems all the content is there in this preview, but it is shown very confused, one part over the other. Also the preview is very small. Tried to get a smaller screenshot but then the content of "Document" is too small to recognize differences there.
Created attachment 147400 [details] Database with the form, which should be shown in form preview.
already reproducible with Version: 4.4.7.2 Build-ID: f3153a8b245191196a4b6b9abd1d0da16eead600 Gebietsschema: de_DE

A way to solve this problem: After creating a form a thumbnail of the form will be created also. I could see this in the temporary folder and in "Recent Documents". In a "normal" Writer file this thumbnail will be saved inside the separate folder "Thumbnail" in the *.odt-file. Having a form inside a database there wouldn't be created such a folder and the thumbnail won't be saved. Let us save this thumbnail like it is done in Writer documents and show it in form preview. So there mustn't be created a "new little form" for the preview.
Still present in Version: 7.4.0.0.alpha0+ / LibreOffice Community Build ID: d925d1ca9e03863650dd3e450331598624f21724 CPU threads: 8; OS: Mac OS X 12.2.1; UI render: default; VCL: osx Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: en-US Calc: threaded Robert's suggestion to use the Writer thumbnail creation method is a reasonable one IMHO.
