is there this effect only for SVG icon themes?
(In reply to Roman Kuznetsov from comment #2) > is there this effect only for SVG icon themes? No, I tried not SVG and 2-3 different styles = bad resolution for all of them. I think it depends on size (for KDE5 icons are bigger in this place)
Thanks for reporting this bug. I can say it's not an icon theme bug. It can be an HIDPI bug or an KDE backend bug
Hello Vera, Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
Hello Xisco, yes, bug is still reproduced, please look at the screenshots below. I use $ xdpyinfo | grep -iE '(resol|dimen)' dimensions: 3840x1080 pixels (688x193 millimeters) resolution: 142x142 dots per inch Version: 6.1.5.2 Build ID: 90f8dcf33c87b3705e78202e3df5142b201bd805 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.19; UI render: default; VCL: kde4; Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded

Hi Vera, could you please do a quick check whether this still happens with the fix for bug 124292 applied?
(In reply to Michael Weghorn from comment #9) > Hi Vera, could you please do a quick check whether this still happens with > the fix for bug 124292 applied? Hello, Michael! I've checked at the latest build Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 5e30823e8a25066aa7bbaa801583dbfa7db55a72 CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.19; UI render: default; VCL: kde5; TinderBox: Linux-rpm_deb-x86_64@86-TDF, Branch:master, Time: 2019-03-31_17:29:00 Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded Bad view is still reproduced.
Created attachment 150494 [details] Screenshot of "Drawing" toolbar with screen scaling set to 1.3 in KDE settings Thanks for retesting. Do you have scaling enabled for your display(s), as described in bug 124292? While trying further to reproduce this, I could come up with two issues: 1) If I set scaling to 1.3 and all Icon sizes to their maximum in "Tools" -> "Options" -> "View", I do see pixelated icons in the "Drawing" toolbar when using the "Breeze" icon set, s. attached screenshot. It looks OK when no scaling is applied or using "Breeze (SVG)". The icons in the menu were still as small as before, and looking OK. 2) When increasing the icon size for "Small Icons" in Plasma System settings ("Icons" -> "Configure Icon Sizes" -> "Small Icons") from their minimum value (default in my case) to 48 (maximum), I get large, pixelated icons in the menu. This happens without scaling set for the displays. It seems like 2) was the issue that you also have. Can you confirm that and that it looks OK if you decrease icon size in Plasma system settings? My version is: Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: bac831c8f5fb5c50ddddfb2458498fb9564c127a CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.19; UI render: default; VCL: kde5; Locale: en-GB (en_GB.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US Calc: threaded

Dear Vera Blagoveschenskaya, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! Warm Regards, QA Team MassPing-UntouchedBug
