Jacques, can you write some steps for repro your crash? And please add info about your LibreOffice (from Help->About) and OS
Comment 2 Jacques Beckand 2018-12-26 10:13:48 UTC
Please find hereafter the info needed:

LibreOffice 6.1.4.2 (but I got same problem with 6.1.3)
OS is Linux Lubuntu (Ubuntu with LXDE desktop)release 18.04 64 bits version.

This bug freezes LibreOffice (not the whole OS). It happens really at random, whatever the document, whatever I'm doing with it. I could not identify any specific step to trigger it. It happens with Writer as well as with Calc (I did not try other LO components).
Looks like there is some cache or stack overflow happening all of a sudden when working on a document.

As a way to avoid losing too much work when this happens, I changed the settings to make automatic document recovery saving every 3 minutes.

Looks like this is typical to LibreOffice, since I don't experience that with other programs.

Many thanks for your attention
