Description Xuyugen 2018-12-25 02:25:33 UTC
Description:
I have downloaded the 6.2.0.0.beta version and build out the msi file on windows 10.when I export a document in Write,I found that it's OK use File->Export,but when I use File->Export As->Export as PDF, the exported file can not be open as a pdf file.and the file is not PDF format, just end with *.pdf

Steps to Reproduce:
1.download and build out the install msi file on windows 10 https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/BuildingOnWindows

2.Install the msi file
3.Export as PDF in Writer

Actual Results:
The PDF file cannot be open when use Export as,but can open use Export

Expected Results:
The PDF file can be open

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I think in the 6.2 beta version ,the file type list has changed

Please attach a sample pdf that cannot be opened. Marking as NEEDINFO - mark as UNCONFIRMED once a file is attached.
Comment 2 Joel Madero 2018-12-25 04:14:02 UTC
Also it would be nice to know if this is a regression:

Does this happen with older versions of LibreOffice - if it happens in 6.0 please set version to the *earliest* confirmed version. If you have the time to test really old versions, please attempt to do so: http://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

The attachment 147807 [details] "NEEDINFO" document is an ODF archive file, not a PDF document.

Can not reproduce problem with Export to PDF on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit en-US (1803) with Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)
Build ID: 49fcd3bbb30f93763fc5cb80fa6ac5cec5d00834
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: GL; VCL: win;
TinderBox: Win-x86_64@42, Branch:master, Time: 2018-12-24_22:40:25
Locale: en-US (en_US); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: CL

With new Text document created in Writer (as the attached NEEDINFO response) the Export As PDF selection with PDF Options panel completed with reasonable choices results in a correctly readable PDF document.

Likewise a new Drawing document created in Draw, using the Export -> Save as PDF selection with PDF Options panel completed results in a correctly readable PDF document.

I Use this version 6.2.0.0.beta1+(x86),not 6.3.0.0.alpha0+,the msi file intstalled in both windows10 and windows7 have the same problem.
