Using Ubuntu 18.04.1 (AMD64) and LO 6.2.0.1 RC (GTK3)

Backspace is working as expected here so unable to confirm this behavior. Also checked the latest 6.3 build and no problem there either.

Thank you Drew.

I switched to gnome and backspace is working in cell edition, then back to plasma and the problem is back.

Versions are :
- kde plasma : 5.12.2
- kde framework : 5.42.0
- qt : 5.9.4

Do you know how I could trace what happens ?

Also checked with version 6.1.4.2, issue is not yet present

On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today, I could reproduce this.
both on kde5+x11 and kde5+wayland

Michael: thought you might be interested in this one.
Never ending looping "warn:vcl.schedule:7331:7331:vcl/source/app/scheduler.cxx:367: we're too early - restart the timer" is a bit annoying to examine console logs.

also confirmed on Ubuntu 18.04.1 (amd64), plasmashell 5.12.6 on x11

This is already handled in bug 122238.
