Description Geoffrey Scott 2018-12-27 22:09:28 UTC
When editing a document and needing to use Find and Replace, slecting Find all a d Replace all,
only 1 pass of amendments is possible. Attempting to Find and replace a second item just does not work.

Please attach example document and write exact steps

Can not confirm on Windows builds of 6.1.4.2

The <ctrl>+H Find & Replace dialog performs multiple sequences of "Find All" (highlighting each occurrence); and when a replacement is provided will "Replace All" in one pass through the document. Or using just "Replace All" will do that replacement with no highlighting.

Changing the Find string (you have to right, you've changed the content) and performing an additional Find All (or Replace All with a replacement string entered) will make an additional pass through the entire document. And can be repeated as many times as needed.

This all is working as expected.

For OP, in addition to example document, identify the build of LibreOffice and your operating system and desktop environment. And, please provide *exact steps* to reproduce what is perceived as incorrect behavior in the find and replace.
