Description:
I see my track changes comments are "unknown author". I google how to fix it and find https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/82521/when-i-create-a-comment-the-words-unknown-author-appears-in-the-comment-box-how-do-i-change-that-to-my-name-initials-or-nickname/

which seems reasonable. 

Make those changes, but my name doesn't appear in the comment as the author.

Version: 6.1.3.2
Build ID: 1:6.1.3~rc2-0ubuntu0.18.04.2
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3; 
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); Calc: group threaded

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Make change
2.Nothing changes
3.

Actual Results:

Expected Results:
My name is listed as the author.

Do you use existing DOCX file for your comments or you create a new file in Writer and then you save it as DOCX?
Please give us more clear steps for repro.

Sorry, you are right, this was a terrible report. 

Yes, it was a docx file created by an external source. I couldn't tell you which software was used to create it, but I guess MS Word is a good guess.

I did not check by creating a docx file in LO and then testing.

Ok, thank you. Can you attach DOCX file with problem? You can replace all confidential info to AAA (for example)

Hello,
if you have a document with some changes and you change the author' configuration, those changes are going to remain the same, as they were done before changing the author's information. Future changes will be done on behalf of the new author's information.
