Description 00 2019-01-09 07:50:34 UTC
Description:
With the function of "set as preset pattern", you don't have to modify the pattern all the time.

Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw, Math, Base, all use this design.

Note:
1. Word already has the function of “setting as a preset pattern”.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

thanks for filing.
It looks the same as creating a new style from a shape, paragraph, cell?

This feature only changes the preset of the pattern.

So that could be "Update style" in LibreOffice?

Another question: is the pattern feature for all sort of elements, or only shapes - as that is what we see in the screen print ?

Same as "Word".

All pattern features.

Because I often draw pictures, I know that this feature is very important and must be there.

My English is poor.

Can you write more details?

If you have Word, you will know if you try it out.

Thanks - I understand the issue now.

I Draw/Impress you can use styles for shapes. Not exactly the same, but similar powerful.
In Writer, Calc, .. styles for shapes do not exist.

Set to New (possibly there already is a ticket for drawing styles in Writer..)
