Description: I'm a french who recently discovered the "Accentuation" (emphasis) option in the right-clic menu. I used it but couldn't later go back to "Caractère par défaut" (Default Character) since there is a bug making it non-selectable in the french interface. I switched to the US interface in order to find the English word used for "Accentuation" to report this bug, and there is no problem on this interface. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use the french version of Writer 2. Type a text and emphasize it 3. You can't go back to "Default Character" Actual Results: Unable to select the "Caractère par défaut" option Expected Results: Being able to select the "Caractère par défaut" option Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info:
Hello, Could you please add a screenshot showing the problem ?
Looks like a duplicate of Bug 108461. Any chance you could try this with a 6.2 build?
Created attachment 148265 [details] Screenshot of the English interface I hope this will be helpfull

Unfortunately I have no system with debian experimental, or other distros providing rc versions of libreoffice. The computer I have is used as a production one and I can't afford to do apt-pinning on it. Sorry.
Hello Mat, You can download LibreOffice 6.2.0.2 from https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/GetInvolved#Test_Pre-releases
(In reply to Xisco Faulí from comment #6) > Hello Mat, > You can download LibreOffice 6.2.0.2 from > https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/GetInvolved#Test_Pre-releases Thanks. I've downloaded LibreOffice-pre.standard-x86_64.AppImage and I've tested it. The bug seems to have been solved (the items have been moved from the "style" menu to the "character" menu, and the " default character" checkbox is selectable).
Thanks for retesting with the latest version. Setting to RESOLVED WORKSFORME as the commit fixing this issue hasn't been identified.
