Description: 3D object disappears after converting to bitmap if rotated Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Draw 2. Insert a 3D object (say Cube) 3. Rotate the cube (double clicking it & drag) 4. Right click context menu -> Convert -> Bitmap Actual Results: Disappearing shape Expected Results: Shape still present (as without rotation) Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID: 61778fd20395794d2de3b52d60dcc65083aecd93 CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 6.3; UI render: GL; VCL: win; Locale: nl-NL (nl_NL); UI-Language: en-US Calc: CL

I can reproduce was I see in the screen cast. But it is no bug. Details below. (In reply to Telesto from comment #0) > Description: > 3D object disappears after converting to bitmap if rotated > > Steps to Reproduce: > 1. Open Draw > 2. Insert a 3D object (say Cube) Watch the status bar. You see "3D Scene selected". > 3. Rotate the cube (double clicking it & drag) With double click you enter the 3D-Scene. Status bar shows "3D cube selected". > 4. Right click context menu -> Convert -> Bitmap That cannot work. It would convert the cube to a bitmap. But a 3D Scene is not able to contain bitmaps or 2D shapes. It can only contain 3D rotation or extrusion objects. Before you can convert to bitmap, you have to leave the 3D scene: Ctrl+F3 or menu Shape > Group > Exit Group. In case the cube is the only object in the 3D scene, you should not enter the 3D scene to rotate the cube, but rotate the 3D scene itself. With default settings a single click on a already selected 3D scene should bring it into rotation mode. Otherwise select 3D Scene, then menu Shape > Transformations > Rotate.
