Description: Earlier versions (including 6) allowed the program icons, eg Calc, to be pinned to the Taskbar and then opened files could be pinned to that same icon on the taskbar. The later version (6.0.7.3. x64 bit) pins the program and asks the user to open it then another program icon appears on the taskbar that has the pinned opened items displayed. This means opening a blank document then opening a pinned item - twice the work for no gain! Please revert to the previous option. I am using Windows 7 Pro. Steps to Reproduce: See Description box above Actual Results: See Description box above Expected Results: Pin previous files to the sole icon on the taskbar Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Pin previous files to the sole icon on the taskbar
Could you please add a screenshot of the problem ? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the requested document is provided.
Created attachment 148408 [details] PC ScreenShot showing 2 icons for Calc The attached screenshot shows my PC (using Windows 7 Pro). On the lower Taskbar, I have pinned Calc (left arrow) but this only opens Calc with a blank sheet plus adds a 2nd icon (right arrow) on the taskbar. Only this 2nd icon displays the pinned files that were previously set. So, to open a pinned file, one has to open Calc from the 1st icon, then open a pinned file from the 2nd icon - previous versions displayed and opened the pinned files on the sole icon !!!
This oddity was first noticed in version 6.0.7.3, not as previously stated
Please ignore my ignorance - I have just discovered how to create one icon on the taskbar with pinned files displayed. With this latest version, I seem to have created an icon on the taskbar for Calc from the File Manager .exe file then opened a file from "Recent Files" then pinned the file. Thus, having 2 icons on the taskbar. What I have now found is that the program itself can be pinned from an open file, thus 1 icon only with pinned files. I'll try to do better!
