Description Jochen Damm 2019-01-29 13:19:06 UTC
Description:
I am a fan of LibreOffice since the first release after the 'fallout' development of OpenOffice.org. But there is one point that I really miss and it bugs me the fact it does. As at least of Microsoft Powerpoint 2013 it is really convenient to assign layouts to speific master pages. So each design has several master pages. One leading slide master and its slaves for their respective layouts. You can assign design elements to a specific slide master fo a speciic task. For example a line as a divider for slides with more than one content block. Once set up you don't have to assign a slide master and a layout every single time you change the layout. Those workarounds are really inconvenient and there is no solution to convert powerpoint files to open document files correctly. The designs are in many cases broken. To be precise the slides look acceptable but their slide masters are broken.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Import/Open an powerpoint file with advanced slide masters or an converted file

Actual Results:
slides or master sometimes acceptable or even totally messed up.

Expected Results:
Nice and clean slides and master pages. Like in MS Office groupes as master and slave or ungrouped as list of several slide masters

Reproducible: Always

Can you please attach a PowerPoint presentation, which uses the features you have described; if possible in pptx format?
