Description myh 2019-02-05 09:38:01 UTC
Description:
Linking LibreOffice Draw objects with formulas into a PowerPoint slide usually cause bad formula renderings. This bug can be worked around by updating the linked Draw objects.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download the attached file, t.odg, of this bug report.
2. Open a PowerPoint slide.
3. Insert/Object/Create from file/Browse …/Select t.odg/Check "Link"/Ok

See the attached video, EmbedLibreOfficeDrawToPpt.mp4, for clear.

Actual Results:
You might see the linked Draw object has a bad formula rendering. If the rendering is good, try to open t.odg, move the formula position, save t.odg, and repeat the bug reproduction steps. This bug can be worked around by updating the linked Draw object.

Expected Results:
We don't have to use the workaround to make the formula rendering correct.

Reproducible: Always

Thank you for reporting the bug. I cannot reproduce the bug. Without any need to update the linked draw objects, the formula rendering is correct. Except for one problem, the letters are slightly blurry instead of being clear. Other than that I have no problem in

Version: 6.3.0.0.alpha0+

Thank you. After I upgrade LibreOffice to version 6.2.0.3, the problem is solved.
