No repro either with

Version: 6.1.5.2
Build ID: 90f8dcf33c87b3705e78202e3df5142b201bd805
Threads CPU : 4; OS : Mac OS X 10.14.2; UI Render : par défaut;

on same Mac mini and monitor.

Note that I haven't enabled OpenGL.

@Vincent : does turning off OpenGL in the LO preferences make any difference ?

What is your output screen resolution ?
Comment 5 Alex Thurgood 2019-02-11 16:05:13 UTC
Switching on/off OpenGL made no difference for me.

Comment 7 Vincent Boudry 2019-02-12 08:41:23 UTC
Switching on/off the OpneGl or all extensions makes no difference.
It still hangs.
I attach 2 process sampling file if it can help.

I tried on 2 external screens:
 - 1900×1050 (typically, I don't remember the exact number)
 - 3440×1440

No difference in using or not OpenGL.
Comment 10 Vincent Boudry 2019-02-12 08:49:14 UTC
Actually, the process doesn't hang completely:
it eventually stops after ~ 7 mins or so... without any selection being applied.
Comment 11 Alex Thurgood 2019-02-12 10:16:15 UTC
@Vincent : thanks for the samples.

Do you have any accessibility features enabled, by any chance (e.g. VoiceOver, or any other assistive technology tools) ?

I also see a call to what looks like hardware acceleration - is this enabled under your LibreOffice preferences ? Usually, this should be disabled by default, or at least, that was my understanding, as it was known to cause problems.

Nothing that I know of...

I disabled it specifically for those tests.

Rectification: I let it run ~19 mins, just to know.
I could finally get an active selection, by carefully clicking on the window edge.

Now I noticed LO indicates 1532 drawing objects selected.

Sorry for the delay: the problem is still here with 6.2.2.2
Comment 16 Xisco Faulí 2019-04-12 11:09:28 UTC
To be certain the reported issue is not
related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your
Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and
re-test?

Dear all,

I confirm I still have this bug with version 6.3.2.2,
with a new profile or the old one.

Best regards,
