Quite evidently, the three locations where we access templates, should be dealt with together... File / Templates Template Manager (window, from File / Templates / Manage Templates) File / New / Templates if the menus at these locations are sort of uniform, even a certain degree of "duplication" will not be a problem... I know, I've already wrote 2-3 suggestions to this matter... but that's how it works... how development or in my case, thinking about developing the tool you use, is a gradual process... In nay case, I think, "File / Templates" should have a "New from Template" menu item, too... this location (File / Templates) is right below Wizards... so, creating a new document is really in the air -- so to speak :) = = = = +1: to make access to templates more intuitive, here, "File / Templates" the menu item "save as template" should be present even when there is no open document... it should be just greyed out... why? because we learn the menu each time we access it - - - thank you for developing LibreOffice - - -
(In reply to peter josvai from comment #0) > I know, I've already wrote 2-3 suggestions to this matter... That's right. so my question is, why do you open a new report instead of adding your arguments to the other bugs. In my point of view, it is quite confusing, if we have several bug to the same topic. So please at least add the other bugs to the "See Also" list. To avoid confusion, we should close this bug as duplicate, but since you already know, that tis bug is a duplicate, there might be a good reason to leave it open. Please give some arguments. I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' once the arguments are given or close it as RESOLVED DUPLICATE
