Description BRANDT 2019-02-17 13:05:45 UTC
Description:
Hi, After running TESTDISK i got a lot of files with name Fnnnnn.ODS and .ODT Openning one looking what is in and for some SAVE AS xxxx, then CLOSE DOCUMENT (not application) and after delete the Fnnnnn.ODS (or ODT) and open the next one. After 7 to 10 documents CENTOS FREEZES just the mouse is moving but nothing else works, even the clock doesn't change, the only possibility was to POWER OFF. Doing the same thing but CLOSING THE APPLICATION for each document solves the problem. The version i have is : Version: 5.3.6.1 Build ID: 5.3.6.1-19.el7 Threads CPU : 4; Version de l'OS :Linux 3.10; UI Render : par défaut; VCL : gtk3; Moteur de mise en page : nouveau; Locale : fr-CH (fr_CH.UTF-8); Calc: group

When i restart LibreOffice ask me to recover the document which froze CENTOS.

Many thanks for your help, René

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open and close document in writer or calc letting application up
2.do 1 several times
3.after a while CENTOS has no more a ressource (perhaps memory) and freezes

Actual Results:
If we close application after each document the problem doesn't occur.

Expected Results:
with CLOSE DOCUMENT CENTOS FREEZES
with CLOSE APPLICATION all is ok

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

OpenGL enabled: Yes

Locale: fr
Module: SpreadsheetDocument

OS: Linux (All)
OS is 64bit: yes

You are using an old version of LO, which is special distributed by your Linux-distribution. Pleas change to a newer LO-version of LO directly (LO 6.1.5.2) and have look, if the buggy behaviour still exists.

I have switched the component, because the buggy behaviour appears fro you with Writer- and Calc-documents.

Hi,

I have installed the 6.2.3.0 but i didn't found a CLOSE DOCUMENT just the CLOSE APPLICATION, so the problem cannot be reproduced.

Many thanks for your help.
René.

File - Close (below Recent documents and above Wizards).
