When you close a document and get sent back to libreoffice6.2-main, then open another LibreOffice application on the same window, a duplicate menu-bar will appear. If you repeat the same steps then another duplicate appears. All of the duplicate menu-bars are functional.

After some experimentation I have found that this is not a LibreOffice bug.

It only happens when the LanguageTool 4.4.1 extension is installed and enabled.

If the extension is disabled or LibreOffice restored to the default settings everything works as expected.

I will try to let the extension author know.

Thank you very much for your time and effort.

Thank you for reporting the bug.
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.

Please forgive my ultra late reply.

The computer I was using when the bug report was submitted was lost to a power surge.

I installed languagetools again today, Using Solus4 Budgie.
Libreoffice version 6.3.1.2 can confirm that the issue is still present.

It is only with languagetools. The other extensions aren't causing any issues.

I am sorry for the delays and inconveniences that my late reply may have caused.

Thank you very much for your help

I can confirm the bug is still present in Libre Office 6.3.2.2 on Ubuntu 19.10 (Eoan Ermine) x64 and with Language Tool 4.7 installed. German Locale.
The problem appeared right after restarting Libre Office after installing the extension.

Only the top menu bar is fully operational, in the two additional ones below many options are greyed out and inactive.

Addition: Deactivating the extension without removing it solved the problem after a restart of the application.
