On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated today or with 6.1.5 LO Debian package, I don't reproduce this.

Could you give a try to last stable LO version 6.1.5 ?
Comment 2 Elliott 2019-02-24 19:42:42 UTC
I have updated as you suggest to:
Version: 6.1.5.2 (x64)
Build ID: 90f8dcf33c87b3705e78202e3df5142b201bd805
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0; UI render: default;
Locale: en-CA (en_CA); Calc: CL

I still cannot save the function from session to session.

I see that there is a 6.2 version that I will try next.
Comment 3 Julien Nabet 2019-02-24 19:45:27 UTC
Before testing 6.2, just to be sure, do you reproduce this with a brand new file or only with specific files?
Comment 4 Elliott 2019-02-24 19:55:07 UTC
I can save it on new files - success!

I still cannot save it on old files though.
Comment 5 Elliott 2019-02-24 19:58:59 UTC
If I save the old files in .odp format then the loop function will save.

Thank you for all this, you have helped me greatly.
