Description: 1st problem: When I click on the download for x86-64 LibreOffice 6.1.5 Deb it should go to the download for the deb version. It, instead, goes to the tar version which won't install in Mint 19.1 (at least not easily). 2nd problem: I haven't logged in in a long time (no need to). I tried logging in under my email, bobp@dslextreme.com. My email was recognized when I asked to change the password. I was supposed to receive an email allowing me to change the password (because I don't remember it). It has been more than 10 minutes and the email hasn't shown up. Steps to Reproduce: Go to YOUR LibreOffice.org website and repeat my steps listed above. Who is coding your website. It isn't difficult to link to the correct download. Actual Results: See above. If it isn't obvious, you need to stop being part of the "support" team. Expected Results: Already described above. Link for download of deb version of LO goes to tar version which is WRONG! Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: Your website should link to the download of the deb version like I requested.
I used https://www.libreoffice.org/download/download/?type=deb-x86_64&version=6.1.5&lang=fr I got a https://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/6.1.5/deb/x86_64/LibreOffice_6.1.5_Linux_x86-64_deb.tar.gz Did I miss something?
Hi Bob, The tar file contain all the debs inside. You have to uncompress it and then install the debs files. Regarding the logging problem, it's not possible to log in in https://www.libreoffice.org/ Which website you are talking about ?
Downloads for Debian were previously one big file. Somebody else sent me to a different site where those are available. Why doesn't the LO website have those? Xisco - It isn't at all obvious how to install the various pieces of the Debian version after it is un-archived from the tar file. I will use the other one.

I will use the other one. You have a README inside the tar file. It contains all the info on how to install LibreOffice. Closing as RESOLVED NOTABUG
