Description:
Some perhaps old info states that custom colours can be defined, named and saved either in Options>Color or Format>Area. However, those don't exist in the current version of LibreOffice.

How do I define, name and save a custom colours in LibreOffice now?

I think this is still possible
Format => page => Area => colour
Here you're able to create a custom palette of colors

=> RESOLVED WORKSFORME (feel free to change it back to UNCONFIRMED, if you don't agree)

But I agree that it would be an enhancement if you could add a colour to your custom pallete with the "pick a color dialog" (Font Color => Custom Color). But this should be filed in a new bug report.
