Description Callegar 2019-03-13 10:55:56 UTC
Description:
In impress, slides include "content boxes" for which an "autofit" option is available. Would be great to have it also in text boxes created in presentations by the user.

Would also be good to have the autofit option not just in the context menu, but also in the Text property window.

Steps to Reproduce:
See description

Actual Results:

Expected Results:

Reproducible: Always

Search for 'Autofit Text' in the 'Customize' dialog. You can add it to menu, toolbar, context menu or make a short cut for it. It works for graphic text boxes the same as for presentation objects.

So this request would be, to include it in the 'Text'-properties window.

Great works... how about making it the default?
Comment 3 Callegar 2019-03-14 14:44:58 UTC
I mean, the presence of the option in the context menu, not enabling of the option.

Let's let the UX team decide...

In the latest version this command is included in the context menu thatks to Andreas Kainz' effort with context menus. Try with a nightly build.
