I would like to use the Bullets and Numbering menu in LO Calc too. Unfortunately, it is only available in LO Writer so far.

For good reason.

Multi-paragraph bullets and numbered lists do not belong in the cells of a spreadsheet!

You can currently embed or link as OLE an ODT document with bulleted or numbered list--gaining full typographic composition of the lists. And, it can be anchored to cell, page, or allowed to resize with its cell.

It has a few glitches with the OLE bounds, but otherwise seems sufficient.

Also, not clear an ODF 1.2 spreadsheet could support this.

IMHO => WF

What's the "good reason" behind it?

Because it is a spreadsheet not a text editor/word processor/desktop publisher.
Trying to use it as such abuses the core function of a spreadsheet.

Agreeing with Stuart in not making Calc a swiss-army-knife (more than today) but also curious about your use case, Ettore. What exactly do you want to achieve?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' once the question has been answered

In my case it would be useful for formatting.

Cross-compatibility is always a good argument to convince developers to look into a topic - if the odf format allows it. But when I read this page [1] it seems to be a simple "<bullet symbol" & <cell value> formula. If I'm wrong please export an example as odf and attach here.
