Description amadorgilman 2019-03-18 23:31:42 UTC
Description:
The "Keep ratio" box is not working properly in Libre Office Version: 6.2.0.3 (x64). Whenever I click on it, and make a change, to either the width or height, the other parameter does not change until I remove the arrow in the "Keep ratio" box

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Insert image
2. Double click on image to adjust size
3. Click on "Keep ratio" box
4. change either width or height and note that other paremeter does not change
5. clicking on "Keep ratio" box again results in the required change being made

Actual Results:
See above

Expected Results:
See above

Reproducible: Always

Thank you for reporting the bug. To be certain the reported issue is not
related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your
Libreoffice profile (https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile) and re-test?

I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present

Thanks for the responses.

I have opened in safe mode, and the problem remained, but what I have not found is that this version of libreoffice acts differently from what I am used to.

In previous versions, once I made a change to either the width or height of an image with the "Keep ratio" box chosen, the other parameter would automatically change as I entered the new dimension.

With this version, the other parameter only changes if I click or tab away from the dimension I am changing.

This happens whether I am in safe mode or not.

I hope my explanation is clear.

Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I think this problem was fixed in LibreOffice 6.2.1.2

Sorry for the late reply.

Currently using version 6.2.2.2 (x64), but the problem persists.

Thank you for trying. Looks like I just have to live with the change.

Please close this bug report.

Maybe the problem is "4. change either width or height and note that other paremeter does not change".
If you just type a new value the other one will not change until you press enter.
I'll close as Notabug.
