The ImageMap function is in Menubar -> Edit and I propose to have the function in Menubar -> Tools If you have a look in draw you have in Menubar -> Tools -> Color Replacer and Media Player and there I would move the ImageMap. The reason is simple Color Replacer, Media Player and Image Map open an dialogue where you can do specific tasks. As you don't have to select an Image ImageMap didn't have to be in Menubar -> Edit.
+1, functionally belongs on the Tools menu. But, documentation will need to be changed.
So let's do it. This function is out of scope IMHO and rather needed on HTML editors than office suites. So "hiding it" under tool would be another argument.
