Description HidayetKurnaz 2019-03-22 09:06:19 UTC
Description:
I downloaded and installed Linux x86_64 (deb)+Translated User Interface:Türkçe. I can't see Turkish spell check. I checked in Windows too. I saw same problem.

And then I checked other language(Italian). It doesn't have the same problem. I checked each Translated User Interface, and compared Turkish and Italian installations files. I found missing package. Italian has a package named libreoffice6.2-dict-it_6.2.2.2-2_amd64.deb but Turkish doesn't have a such package.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Download and install LibreOffice 6.2.2.2 setup -Linux x86_64 (deb)
2.Download and install LibreOffice 6.2.2.2 Translated User Interface:Türkçe.
3.Open Writer.
4.Change language setting to Turkish.
5.Write some words and check spell checking.

Actual Results:
Don't work spell checking.

Expected Results:
Work spell checking.

Reproducible: Always

I wonder why this happens. We have the Turkish spellcheck dictionary now.

Did you install hunspell-tr ?
Indeed, if you use dpkg to install .deb, it won't install dependencies.

What's your Linux distrib and its version?
