@Evan : are you talking about a grid control in a form, which is bug 54021, or are you talking about definitively re-ordering the sequence of fields in a table in table data edit mode ?

If it is the latter, which is what I suspect you are trying to describe, then I don't recall that this has ever been possible (even with OpenOffice.org).

In order to do that, you need to issue ALTER TABLE ALTER COLUMN statements via the menu Tools > SQL and redefine your field order sequence that way.
