Description stdedos 2019-03-27 14:45:38 UTC
Description:
After opening 2 separate "Cell Style Modify" windows, I can only "work" on the last opened window.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open two files

In-order, for both files:
2. Open Styles and Formatting
3. Select a style
4. Right-click > Modify ...

Actual Results:
I can work on both "Cell Style" windows.

Expected Results:
I can only work on the last "Cell Style" window.

(Note that, after opening the first one, it doesn't "somehow" disable editing the second file - which is correct)

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

I can't open 2 separate Cell Style dialogs. Once I open one, I can't do anything with other dialogs unless I close it first.

I thought that the Stable PPA would be a nice place to report bugs against

(Actually, it was -1 version from that, since I've updated today)

Please try with 6.3.0, which hopefully should offer you gtk3.

Apologies; latest offered by the PPA (deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/ppa/ubuntu xenial main) as of today, is 6.2.6-0ubuntu0.16.04.1~lo1

I am not willing to install from sources or otherwise; "clean" deb or ppa "modifications" only

You can try an appimage that does not require an install: https://libreoffice.soluzioniopen.com/

Comment 8 stdedos 2019-09-27 13:04:32 UTC
I have a somewhat related issue:

If I have a workbook open, with a "Cell Style Modify" window open, then window is in a "semi-working state", e.g.: Menus work, buttons don't.

If I manage to open a file (from File->Open Recent), then, the workbook only "partially" loads.

Opening the Style sidebar gives "empty" list.

If then I close the "Cell Style Modify" window, Calc goes down on a (controllable) crash.

Do you want a new bug for that, or it's considered a "tail" of this one?
