Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to tools - Options - LibreOffice - General
2. Change the status of any checkbox
3. Apply ( Do not click on OK button )
4. Cancel
. Go to tools - Options - LibreOffice Calc

-> the change done before is not saved

it works in print options

Reproduced back to https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=92026741ed7e83119f1de51528480c5a937c0e88, when the Apply button was added...

Same issue for language module in writing aid, see bug 112440.
