Do you have OpenGL enabled in LibreOffice? (what does it say in About box for "UI render:") If it says GL, could you give it a try after disabling it in Tools -> Options, LibreOffice -> View under 'Use OpenGL for all rendering'? I'd probably give updating GPU drivers a try regardless of what it says, though.
Does it work if you disable OpenGl ? -> https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/OpenGL I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present
Alright... After disabling OpenGL it all seems to work fine again. Strange thing though, because I am using LibreOffice for years already and never experienced this issue before until the latest update. I also never turned on or off OpenGL before. Anyway, thanks for your help.
Please locate your <user profile>/cache/opengl_device.log file, and attach it to the bug report, it'll give information on the GPU driver version you currently have. How to find the user profile location is described here: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile#Expert_information

Thanks Steven! The date of the driver is quite old, 9-23-2016, I'd try to find an updated driver package on Intel's site (or the notebook's manufacturer's, if it's a notebook).
