Description: Launching LibreOffice for the first time shows a window but it's blank. Killing it using xkill makes it go away. But launching it again, nothing happens. I noticed this issue is solely related to Templates. I deleted my templates folder (~/.config/libreoffice/4/user/template) which fixed the issue. Except for the fact that every time is start up LibreOffice now, I get an error message that the template does not exist. Recreating the template results in the same problem. Even choosing File > Templates > Save as Template makes LibreOffice hang/crash.

Thank you for reporting the bug. To be certain the reported issue is not related to corruption in the user profile, could you please reset your Libreoffice profile ( https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile ) and re-test? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to 'UNCONFIRMED' if the issue is still present
Thanks for your reply. I just did a full profile reset which fixed the issue. So I suppose the user profile was corrupted by the OS upgrade.
Happy to hear. Closing as RESOLVED NOTABUG
