Copy Ctrl+C any cell with text content; move the cursor (keyboard or mouse) onto another cell but paste to the edit bar at the top - noting this provides a useful visibility at times better than the cell. There is a suffix space added that is not wanted and is inconsistent with a paste to the cell, where that does not occur. Risk: data errors where the cell then does not match against expected without the extra space.

with LO 4.4.7.2 (and before - even AOO 4.1.5), the space is removed after Accept". looks like a broken feture

add. observations: > Copy Ctrl+C any cell with text content; same behaviour with numerical values in 6.2.8.2 and 7.0.0.0.a0+, the blank is ommitted if you hit enter after insert, but if you continue editing you may produce content like '1 234', different behaviour with formula content in abovementioned versions, additional blank, and the formula is replaced with the value calculated in the source cell, is that intentional, did i miss any option settings, or a bug? copying the content of a cell with <F2 - ctrl-a - ctrl-c> works fine and without add. blanks with any content, but is some more typing,
