But in font size drop down new font size change. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Just Selected any set of cells and tried to change font size. 2. Some time font size change reflects but some times not. 3. Actual Results: Select cells with texts in them, Cells have texts with different font size say in some it was 10 in some it was 12. selected font size 12 in drop down. In drop down font size shown 12. But in cells fonts still remain same. No change. Expected Results: Font size of text in all cells should change to 12. Created attachment 151172 [details] File with bug In this file cells P1 to P9 contains texts. I have deleted some part of the actual texts to make meaningless text as the actual data was personal info. The Actual file in which bug appeared was created back in 2015 or 2016. The detail of BUG: Select the cells P1 to P9. Now change the font from drop down menu in menu bar. "Visibly" Font size of P5 will not change. But when selecting P5 only the font size will show as change applied. But still font size bisible to be unchanged.
Please also note : As soon as I am completely deleting the exiting texts in cells which are showing anomalies and write fresh text. The same cells with new text entered works fine and font size changes immediately. Hence if I delete the personal data and add new data the problem will not reproduce. Hence Possibly it is not a issue related to user profile as 1) I have uninstalled the existing LibreOffice and installed fresh. 2) The problem exist only in this old file and no newly created file showing such problem.
i can confirm this with attached file: - open attached *.xlsx file - select P1:P9 - change font size: 20pt - cell P5/P7: font size will not change - select P5 and select 20pt again -> font size will change now
Created attachment 151173 [details] File with bug In this file cell D13 contains text with different font type i.e. Hindi Font is "Lohit Marathi" font and front slash is Ariel. If I select the cell and try to change the font size the visible size of only front slash changes. There is not visible change is size of Hindi text. Thanks
Looks like user error, not a bug. Cells P5 and P7 have character format. If cleared, font changes. Oliver, please do not confirm behavior (if not understanding the reason), it's bug that needs to be confirmed.
