11 pages out of 218 that should be there.

The document was created in Libre Office, though, it will no longer open in Libre.
I managed to open it in Apache [Open Office] but 200+ pages are missing.

try to fix doc

On Win10, I could reproduce the problem.
I tried to fix the fix by removing duplicate attributes.
Does it seem ok to you?

Except if you want to fix the bug yourself, please don't assign yourself.

Also, 5.2.0.4 is quite an old version, please give a try to a recent LO version like 6.1.6 for 6.1 branch or brand new 6.2.3 for 6.2 branch.

My son asked you to look at this - and you have just saved me from losing three long days' work. Thank you so very much! Kind regards, Nicholas Storey.

Great it's ok for you! :-)

However, have in mind that attachments in bugtracker can be read, downloaded, ... by anyone so perhaps you may interested in deleting both attachments.
If yes, you should take a look here:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/Bugzilla/Administration

Since there was no specific fix here brought to LibreOffice, let's put this one to WORKSFORME instead of FIXED.
