Description:
An isometric grid option in LibreOffice impress would allow easier drawing of 60 and 30 degrees lines an reduce time in drawing diagrams.

Actual Results:
Would allow isometric drawings

Expected Results:
Clean isometric diagrams.

Would be cool to sheer and rotate the grid with a dialog. Or we create this as an extra layer and ship it as a template. What's your take, Regina?

It would indeed be cool to have a grid based on your own axis direction. The dimetric 42°, 7° (DIN) is needed too. But it would be a large effort to implement it, because not only the display it affected, but the snap features too. So let us set it on the wish list and hope for sponsors.

True, the snap thing complicates this somewhat and we cannot go with a template. Other opinions anyone?

No further input, onto the wish list. As a workaround I recommend to create a template with this grid, manually created, as a special layer.
