Version: 6.2.4.2
Build ID: 2412653d852ce75f65fbfa83fb7e7b669a126d64
CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 4.15; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

It happened whilst returning from adding a formula to a ODT file, my 2 page document now has 83 separate formula objects... it probably had only about 60 at the time.

I have not been able to work out a reproducible procedure yet as I only had 1 crash when creating this document.

It may have been due to the high-density of Formula objects and clicking out of the editor onto something else, as after I clicked on somewhere else to continue editing the program froze and then crashed.

Document with many Formula

This is the completed document I was working on, I didn't save a copy of what condition it was in after the document recovery as I was in the zone to flesh out the document... Before my exam tomorrow night...
(I am glad they let us have 1 double-sided A4 of notes...)

But from memory I _think_ the crash happened with the formula half way on page 2 just above "Flows and cuts".

The content before is slightly compacted then when the crash happened (need to fit on that single A4) and the paragraph was originally at 12pt not 11pt.

According to http://crashreport.libreoffice.org/stats/signature/SmViewShell::GetState, we only have 2 crashes. It seems it's a really strange corner case crash

we only have crashes in LibreOffice 6.2
Could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
Comment 7 Kieran Grant 2019-10-23 23:52:31 UTC
