Description malwodyn 2019-07-15 19:40:26 UTC
Description:
I have edited a presentation with over 100 slides in LibrOffice Impress. On transferring this to two other laptops running LibreOffice I find that the font used on the first machine is unavailable on the other two, and in consequence the formatting of text is destroyed. In particular headings and text boxes now overlap, and sometimes text overruns the edges of the page. I have experienced similar problems saving a presentation in Microsoft Office Powerpoint format. but as I do not use Powerpoint, on any of my machines I cannot reproduce this

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Presentation edited on Toshiba SatellitePro running Windows 10
2. copy of presentation saved onto memory stick, and copied from this on to Acer laptop N17Q3 also running Windows 10; subsequently copied unmodified onto CompaQ running Ubuntu 18.04.2
3. File opened using Latest version of LibreOffice on both machines

Actual Results:
In both cases the selected font seems to have been unavailable, and and the only information is that it is "Automatic Font

Expected Results:
I had expected that the font would be available on all three computers, or that I might be easily able to download it.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
The Toshiba SatellitePro was purchased new some three or four years ago, and LibrOffice installed by me immediately. The Acer was purchased second-hand three or four months ago, and LibreOffice installed by me on purchase. The CompaQ laptop was bought second-hand recently and modified to run Ubuntu from a disk that was cloned from the hard drive of a laptop supplied new to me ten or more years ago with Ubuntu and LibreOffice installed.
