Description hlillywh 2019-08-05 16:54:59 UTC
Description:
The instructions say that to add a row to a table, hit alt-insert, release and hig an up arrow. I tried, it doesn't work. The old version had an easy way with the icon of the table at the top.

Actual Results:
Go to Libreoffice and insert a table of any size. Try to insert a row by following instructions, alt-insert, then up or down arrow. Nothing happens

Expected Results:
Should have added a row

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

I'm not sure what you want, the issue seems rather clear. The instructions of how to insert a new row in a table in LibreOffice text documents do not work. I cannot insert a new row. Testing, the same holds for adding columns, or for deleting rows and columns.

working by menus

It's very easy to insert rows.
You have contextual right click and also in the bottom is a toolbar for table.

See the video.

I am using

Please tell us the location of the information where ALT+INS is using in adding rows.

The documentation indeed says that Alt+Insert is inserting rows/columns.
So, I think this bug should be change in order to change LibreOfffice Writer at page 285 for version 6.0.

See my image.
